Design Challenge
The Marymount University Mixed-Use Arts + Health Center caters to student’s holistic health and well-being. Marymount University’s mission to give back to the community is lived out by offering a Community Physical Therapy Clinic and Student Health Clinic. A Collaboration Hub is collocated with the clinics to support healing by harnessing the power of art and design.
The Mixed-Use Arts + Health Center provides a thoughtful design approach for students, faculty, patients, families, practitioners, and community members visiting the building.
Concept Statement
The Marymount University Mixed-Use Arts + Health Center is an evidence-based design facility that uses art and design to support the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health on Main Campus. Inspired by the U.S Air Force Memorial, the Mixed-Use Arts + Health Center encourages users to achieve their goals using structured and flexible spaces reflecting that improving your health and well-being can be solved through a structured how-to plan or a flexible course.
